Buy refurbished and get “A Little Bit More”!
These days, everyone is looking for “a little bit more”: to save a little bit more money, to be a little bit more green – to do a little bit more with a little bit less.
Buying refurbished computers, electronics, and accessories allows you to do all of this and more!
Buying refurbished saves you money!
Obviously, refurbished (“refurb”) products are less expensive than buying brand new, but not only can you keep a little more of your hard-earned money in your wallet, you can do it without sacrificing quality or performance. For example, since Intel has released its next generation of Core i3, i5, and i7 processors, there are some absolutely incredible deals to be had on extremely fast, powerful, name-brand Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad notebook PCs and desktop computer systems. For most users, these systems are more than powerful enough now, and will be for several years to come.
Buying refurbished is good for the environment!
Buying refurbished, recertified, or remanufactured electronics (or refurbished parts and accessories for newer products) keeps vast quantities of space-consuming, toxic, non-biodegradable material (e.g., lead, PCB, lithium, plastic, etc.) out of landfills. It also saves the electricity (which consumes resources and creates pollution), water, metals, and other raw materials that would be required to manufacture new products, not to mention the fuel required to transport them from manufacturer to retailer to end-user.
So, when shopping for computers and electronics, do your wallet – and the planet – a favor: consider buying refurbished.
Be green, save green!
